The C/MRI Users Manual V3.0 continues to be in stock and copies are being shipped on an every week basis. This manual, which focuses on the general purpose interfacing cards, is the main source of information for getting started with the C/MRI.

Volumes 1 and 2 of the Railroader's C/MRI Application Handbook V3.0 , which is still completing its update cycle, cover the application of the more specialized C/MRI family of circuit boards. Additionally, the Handbook deals with the more advanced railroading applications. One way of looking at the situation is that the Application Handbook tends to take off from the point where the User's Manual leaves off.

When combined together, the C/MRI User's Manual as well as Volumes 1 and 2 of the Railroader's Application Handbook provide extensive software coverage including updated standard serial protocol subroutines, real-time software control, a multitude of application examples plus system test programs, and automated diagnostics. All software is incorporated in a CD enclosed with Volume 1 of the Railroader's Application Handbook and a more limited version of the software is incorporated in a 3.5” software disk included with the User's Manual. To fit the background and needs of different readers, examples are included in an assortment of languages including BASIC, QuickBASIC, Visual Basic, Pascal and C++.
